When LeBron (my most hated NBA player) was interviewed recently about his name being tossed in to NBA MVP mix. His answer "I'd give it to Kobe" WOWOWOWOWOWOW I no longer hate him...as much. Cuz he is right, Kobe is the truth he was also quoted as saying "I've been quoted millions of times saying Kobe is the best player in our league for the last five years" another fact which I cannot deny. Cuz Kobe is. He scored 81 in the modern NBA, which may be more impressive than the 100 scored by Wilt (since he was like a foot taller than his competition, and he got the ball every time on Offense).

Okay so now that it's official, Mike Beasley is going pro, and so is Derrick Rose and Jerryd Bayless. They are the top 3 in pretty much every Mock Draft I've seen since the tourney has ended. But this is the question I am asking to the Miami Heat: Do you please your superstar or make the right move? Cuz we all know that the right move is to take Beasley with the 1st pick, but the week before the final four D Wade came out and said that he wanted to play "with a new member in his back court" and that "that kid was still playing in the tourney" so clearly he wants them to take D. Rose, cuz my boy Bayless wasn't playing bball then (well he was playing pick up games at the U of A rec center I've been told).... so what do you do if your the Heats GM? Go out and get Beasley or Rose?

I'm on the fence for this one, I have no idea what they should do. I guess you gotta keep D Wade happy but I can also see why they would wanna take Beasley. Both are NBA "ready" and are gonna be perennial All Star and potentially Hall of Famers. So I guess now all we can do is wait and see.

Big game tomorrow

And sadly enough, its a hockey game. The capitals are 2 points back of the Carolina Hurricanes and they face each other tomorrow at the phone booth. And oddly enough you get 2 points for every win in the NHL, so the script has been set, for an epic game. If all goes well, and with a little help from some other teams, they can be a 3 seed in the playoffs, or maybe an 8th seed, or if all does not go as we all hope, they could be out of the playoffs. So I hope Huet, and Ovechkin got their swag right tomorrow night cuz the caps season really does come down to this game. C-A-P-S CAPS CAPS CAPS.

The Undefeated Washington Nationals

Opening day has finally arrived. This one is a little more special because this year they are also opening the new stadium for the Nats. According to everyone I have seen and heard the stadium is ill. And the team looks good. Well at least tonight they did. The pitching was solid and the bats were decently hot (especially in the 9th). 

The night started out with "W" coming out to throw the 1st pitch. He threw a high heater hahaha. He was welcomed by a mix of boo's and clapping, but what do you expect. They should have gotten Barack to come out and do it, he would have thrown a dirty slider. 

Anyways the Nats ended up winning the game in the bottom of the 9th, thanks to a Ryan Zimmerman walk-off HR. 

The nats could not have asked for a better way to open a new season and a new ball park. On national TV none the less.

DAVIDSON?!!!??!?!?!?! ARE YOU SERIOUS?!?!?!? They are legit!!!! Last night the 10th seeded Davidson Wildcats upset the 3rd seeded Wisconsin Badgers, and they did so quite decisively. A lot of it thanks to MY MAN Stephen Curry, he's so nice. So money!!!! He doesn't miss. Those tall white cracka's from wisconsin didn't know what hit them. He made it rain on them badgers. And then when they took him out the rest of his team stepped it up. 

The davidson team reminds me the old princeton teams. They were not flashy, no big names (once bill bradely left), they just all played well together and made it happen. And that is what needs to be done. The wildcats are riding a 25 game winning streak, but unfortunately for them they face Kansas. NOT EASY

The Brokeback Mountaineers... I mean Mountainqueers

So West Virginia blew it. And the worst part about it was that the game wasn't even in HD, but what do you expect when the ONLY people who cared about that game was the state of West Virginia, and we all know they have no idea what HD means. For the HD stands for Hot Daughter or some inbred shit.

I love him already. Lat night at the McDonalds all-american game he was sportin' the old house party haircut, the high top. I will get a pic up for you guys. And he has some "swag" saying before the game he was out to break the assist record which was 12, i know he had 5 in the first 5 minutes but then I turned to South Park...

Another great thing we all learned today is that Kevin O'neil is returning next season according to espn.com and according to Jennings Jerryd Bayless called him and told him he will be back too!!! Now all we need is for chase and J-Skrilla to stay and we will have a DYNASTY

Okay, so now that U of A is out of the tourney and the wiz are playing horribly. I have nothing to talk about, except for the 1 good thing the DMV has going for it, and that (sadly enough) is hockey. Well not hockey, but Alex Ovechkin, he is pretty nutty. He managed to score his 61st goal last night and set the Capitals record for most goals in a season. I don't know that much about hockey and I have no clue when the season ends but, to break it with still some time left in the season is pretty insane. He is a MACHINE, a scoring machine!!! He was recently spotted at a wizards game with a hot chicky babe, so I guess you can say that the man has it all, the women, the money, the fame, the whole nine yards...

And for the record, I am learning a lot about hockey. Last night I managed to see that the other team was offsides, and a second later the whistle blew. Offsides. I'm mooonaaaay

I'm going to "the dance"

So.... I just found out that tomorrow I will be attending the 1st round of the NCAA tournament at the Verizon Center. I'm sooo excited!!! this is the first time I will ever attend a NCAA tourney and I get to watch my Wildcats beat up on some Mountaineers, from inbred West Virginia. I am going to all 4 games and it's gonna be an awesome day of basketball, I'm literally going to be there from 10am to 12 midnight... It's going to be real solid!!! I'll keep you all updated on how it goes. Look for me I'll be in the 400 section...haha

U of A got invited to "The Dance"

First of all, Fuck ASU! HAHAHAHAHA I'm so happy they are not in the tourney. They suck. Yeah, so what that they beat us twice this season, it was a fluke. We'll see you next year and we will show you mo fo's whats up. Anyways back to the story at hand, Arizona balling it up in March Madness!!!! Best part about the whole thing, THEY ARE PLAYING IN DC!!!!! I get to go watch, and I WILL be there. I can't wait to see the look on all those inbred West Virginia fans when we pull off the "upset" and knock them out. Then on saturday we will play Duke, and CRUSH. They suck.... F Duke. Arizona is going to spray paint their names all over the Verizon Center and the NCAA Tournament. And I can't wait to see it, first hand.

And I mean that...No homo. I had the pleasure of going to the wiz vs cavs game tonight and I honestly have to say it was the BEST NBA experience I have had. I was sitting 5 rows from the floor and chatted it up (well yelled...) at every player out there... 

All my negativity was aimed at LeBron "queen" James. It started after his first miss I yelled "you have 56 million reasons not to miss a jumper" then the next time down I yelled "your soft stop bitching" and he stared at me, we locked eyes, and gave me the death stare.... I was a lil scared. Then I started yelling at Damon Jones telling him "his haircut game is Fucked up"

All my positive comments went to DeShawn and the rest of the wiz. When Nick Young checked in I yelled "updated your v-log" and he cracked up. Then during half time DeShawn was warming up right in front of me and I yelled at him "I wanna see some McDonalds high school dunk champ hops" and he turned around and started cracking up too... I think were boys now....? I'm pretty sure about that. 

The main reason I love Deshawn is he's so hard.. says the truth. straight up. 

After the game they asked him about LeBron and how they were trash talking back and forth all game and he answers "he's over rated....and you can say that I said that" I'm glad he said it. Nobody has the balls to admit it cuz the entire NBA sweats LeBron the "queen" so much. I've said it a million times, he is good, but he gets EVERY call and then has the balls to cry about the calls he doesn't get!!!! I FUCKING HATE HIM

But I love DeShawn, Nick Young, and the rest of the Wiz Kids. 

Oh and by the way... DeShawn was names on ESPN tonight as a "hoop hero" for his performance tonight.

Fuck Clemson... Especially Tommy Bowden

Ok, so we all know the story about Ray Ray McElrathbey, a clemson football player who has taken custody of his younger brother and is now a full-time student, student athlete, brother, now a "father" and still has a job to help get extra income. He was forced to take custody of his younger brother after his parents failed to take care of the youngster. His dad is a drunk gambler and his mom is a drug addict. Now to make things worse Tommy Bowden has pulled his scholarship!!!! Do you have no soul??? I mean I know that his is a USC-biased blog, but still this is mind boggling... how can clemson be so douschey?!?!?!? What the hell were they thinking?? This was the feel good story before every "bowden bowl" and it should of been, what he was doing was amazing. But Bowden pulled his scholarship after he went out and recruited too many RB's!!!!! Oh but to make things better Bowden said that he could come back as a graduate assistant to the team, to help him pay for grad school that he plans on attending.....WOW WHAT A SCUMMY PIECE OF SHIT. I used to dislike clemson because my boy went to USC, now I hate them 'cuz they are fucking D bags!!!

I had the privilege of attending tonights Wizards vs. Bucks game, and got to see the wizards finally win. But most importantly I witnessed Nick Young score his career high 22 points. 4 of them coming off of some NASTY ass dunks. 1 of which was in Andrew Bogut's face!!! Hes a 7 ft. former #1 pick, and nick young put him on a fat head!!!! I LIKE IT!!!!

Gil Update

Gilbert Arenas has been cleared to practice!!!! Its a small step in his return to the floor but its a step. There is no time table for his return but he needs to get his legs back. I hope all goes well and we hit no more bumps on his road back to full recovery from a serious surgery. 

Skins Offseason

The offseason this season was just that...OFF. We didn't sign anyone (other than Todd Collins). The patriots have re-signed Randy Moss to a 3 yr deal for 27 million dollars. And the bears re-signed Lance Briggs...DAGGER

I guess our only option now is to trade for ocho cinco... I know I am repeating myself but we got to trade Chris Samuels (who is ridiculously over-rated and has high value) to the bengals who need a tackle!!!!

Best news I've heard in a while

It's unfortunate and all, I mean he does have a family and kids, but THANK GOD. ESPN has officially let go of Sean Salsbury. I hated him. He was so obnoxious and USC bias ('cuz he went and played there). But I am really happy to hear that I wont have to hear his voice anymore. Sean will be replaced by Chris Carter, who I like, and was a better football player anyways... So thats good. I mean I think ESPN had to let him go, earlier this year he went on a bender or something he appeared on TV for like 5 days in a row without shaving. Maybe you could get away with this in the non-HD days but now a days you got to be clean shaven and look good when you show up to work, and Chris Carter will do this. With time running down he ran the length of the court after Hilton Armstrong tied the game at 92-92, after dumb ass Antawn Jamison committed a lane violation to give him a third attempt (which he made) after he missed his original 2 foul shots. Anyways, DeShawn was like "get mine" and he stepped up big when we needed him too. Thanks DeShawn I'm so glad you cannot feel your face..

Jim Zorn loves C Po

In a press conference today Jim Zorn was talking about how excited he is to implement his west coast offense, which uses a lot of short passes and definitely uses the RB a lot!!!! And when asked about it, Zorn said he is really excited to have Clinton Portis in his backfield and thinks that the new offense will go hand in hand with Clintons amazing catching abilities and will exploit his talents. 

Wow...I knew I loved Zorn..hahahah Anyone that loves CP as much he claims to is good in my book. I hate Stephen A. Smith

Okay so like I said earlier...I read that his stock was dropping quite fast, but then I watched the combine today with my little brother and he ran a 4.27 40 yd dash!!!!!! ARE YOU SERIOUS?!?!?!?!? Do you hear that??? Thats is the sound of his Uhhhh stock rising!!!!! He pretty much guaranteed that he will be a top 10 if not top 5 pick... thats insanely fast... So I would like to say I no longer now what the deal is with his stock, but in my opinion, he is still a top 10 pick. Hand down, bar none, the illest RB in the draft. 

The only question is his character... He did beat the shit out of a bouncer after the season ended this year, but he probably deserved it...

I think any team that passes on him and needs a RB is a fool, especially after what we saw Adrian Peterson do this year as a rookie. Darren McFadden is going to be the truth. Some NFL Combine shit I've been hearing

-Since the Falcons won the coin toss for the 3rd pick in the draft, it's looking more and more likely that they will be taking Boston College QB Matt Ryan (I can hear Devin screaming about this as I type it out....) I hope Ryan ate his Flutie Flakes, he's going to need it down in the Dirty South

-Darren McFaddens stock is dropping, plummeting if you will. So bad in fact that many people at the combine believe that he won't be a top 10 pick. I can't believe this, I think he would have to show up at the combine with 1 leg or no legs in order for this to happen. I love McFadden and I think that any team that needs a RB could use him. But I guess the success of all these 2nd round RB's as of late has really made people think twice about wasting high picks on RB's...Sorry Darren

-LSU DT Glenn Dorsey is not going to be at the combine, due to a death in the family. So the LSU pro day is going to be very, very important. And the Raiders are praying that he will still be around when the 4th pick in the draft comes up. 

-No rookie should sign with Drew Rosenhaus, I guess front office people are saying that is reason in itself not to get drafted by certain teams, they refuse to deal with Rosenhaus....

-The falcons look like they are real close to making a deal with the Giants for their 1st round pick, and in return they will give them CB DeAngelo Hall, so that D just got a little better...watch out NFC East

-Colt Brennan is helping his stock by bulking up.... he weighed in 26 lbs heavier than he did at the Senior Bowl. I guess he's been eating everything in sight and hitting the weights..Or he got that Barry Bonds thing going... I mean he is from Cali.... BALCO??? Maybe he accidently sat on a needle, that just so happened to have HGH or some steroids in it... what a clumsy move...

-Another QB Joe Flacco is creating quite the buzzzzz at the combine, and people are falling in love with him. The QB played ball at delaware, oh those fighting blue hens, they produce some great QB's in Delaware.... NOT. But all jokes aside looks like this kid is the talk of the combine, so good for him, thats a good story, a kid from Delaware stealing the spot light from all those QB's from big name D1 schools... lets see if they like him enough to draft him above those other guys..

The "Big Cactus"

So as you all know, Shaq got traded to Phoenix. He is now a member of the "run and gun" Suns team, who doesn't run set plays and just balls on fools. I like to watch 'em play but they literally don't run any plays!!! Just pick and rolls all day... When Shawn Marion got traded to the Miami Heat coach Pat Riley went up to welcome him and asked him "what were some of your favorite plays in Phoenix? So we can put em in our playbook for you" and Marion answered him "We didn't run any plays, we just pick and roll" HAHAHA Mike D'Antoni is a great coach!!! (sarcasm) He just gets the sickest ballers and lets them play. He allows the lesbian look-alike Steve Nash to run the show and feed "the rock" to all the nasty ass players they have out on the floor. 

Tonight while watching the game against the Celtics, I realized I love the Suns team, except for Nash, I don't know why... I just do. He is fun to watch and he is really good, I just hate him, and refuse to admit how good he really is. 

But anyways, back to the point, Shaq. I don't know how he is going to fit in on this team. While he was in the game he looked out of place, they were all just too fast for him, they looked to be like 4 steps ahead of him. And when they tried to get him the ball it looked really forced and they caused an excessive amount of turnovers trying to get him the ball. I mean I LOVE Shaq, and I hope he does really well, but after watching this game I just don't know. Anyways good luck Shaq aka the "Big Cactus" do what you does lil daddy...

NBA Craziness

Yesterday was the craziest day in recent NBA history... people were getting moved around like whoa... 1st the Ben Wallace trade to the Cavs who also got DeLonte West, Wally "Dont be" Scurdbiack, Joe Smith, and a pick. They lost Larry Hughes (who they have been trying to Dish out anyways), Drew Gooden (Who has the worst facial hair/hair in the WORLD) Donyell Marshall, and god knows what else... All Star Game

The game started out like most do, SLOPPY... But this time it ended really nice, in a close game and the players really balled out.. The dunks were ridiculous and my boy "Superman" aka Dwight Howard really threw down some nasty ass dunks.. 

I'm so pissed LeBron won the MVP!!!! I personally think it should have been Ray Allen, the man with the prettiest jumper in the NBA. I just hate how anything LeBron does is like the greatest thing ever. I'm not taking anything away from him, he is without a doubt a BEAST on the floor but I mean come on ESPN and TNT get off his nuts... for real... LeBron is like the NBA golden child, at one point today during the game, LeBron shot a fade away jumper (a pretty common shot...happens all the time) Doug Collins went on a rant for like 10 minutes about how that was a phenomenal shot and all this other bull shit... I just don't get it... I think if LeBron had diarrhea that could possibly make it on sports center and it would be like the biggest deal ever.. FUCK LEBRON... I mean he is a great player but FUCK give us a break... and the MVP was Ray Allen aka "Jesus Shuttlesworth" for the record..

Another reason I hate LeBron is 'cuz he is always trying to be like the main attraction he craves the attention.. When Daniel Gibson (a bench player on the Cavs) won the MVP of the Rookie/Sophmore game in his post game interview LeBron HAD TO run over and interrupt and give his 2 cents... REALLY?!?! How I lost my mind in "the city"

It began with a debate for the ages at the liquor store... Vodka? Jack? What should we get?? Somehow we walked out with a bottle of Sake and a 6 pack of of MIller Lite. Then Mike and I teamed up and drank the whole thing before we left to go to the bar...

When we got to the bar, shit only got worse.... Hookah, Booze, and more booze... We were taking shots of patron (chilled of course) and drinking bottles of Bud Lite and pounding Mind erasers... 183 dollar later we were hammered!!!! We then left the bar/lounge and I thought it would be a great idea to go to a strip club... NEVER A GOOD IDEA..

When we got to this strip club I thought it would be a good idea to get a bottle of bubbly (not a good idea) to compliment the sliders, fries, and wings the other guys ordered...oh and more shots of patron... I then fell in love with a stripper who did not know english and was from Venezuela... she was a 10... anywho I then started getting lap dances from her and to sum it up I was told by the bouncer to stop touching 'cuz I wasn't allowed to touch her... any how the bouncer came over, told me to quit it then turned his back, literally the moment he turned his back I proceeded to "motor boat" this stripper... the bouncer must have had eyes in the back of his head, cuz he somehow saw this and told me I HAD TO STOP or I would be escorted out (probably would have been for the best, at this point) I then went ahead and got more shots of tequila and more lap dances from my latin lover..hahahahah 

Anyhow moral of the story NEVER DO THIS... I'm now 600 dollars poorer but hey..... What can you do????

Holy shit!!! WOW... Sayid is nuts!!! 

Okay, sorry about that, just needed to vent. But I just got done watching this weeks LOST episode and wow! Okay shit on the island is getting crazy.. Ben is now boys with Sayid?? Kate is staying with sawyer and "playing house" (well for now 'cuz we know she is part of the "Oceanic 6"). And Sayid is rolling around europe killing people on a "list." WOW. And who was that girl and her boss? The "economist"?? I'm an economist (or so says my degree) I hope I'm not on Sayid's list!!! haha

After discussing this with my boy Casey, him and I think the Asian guy who came on the chopper is definitely the son of the guy on the Dharma Initiative videos.. makes sense... he wants to find Ben, the guy who killed off the entire Dharma Initiative.. kinda makes sense. i would wanna do the same... 

The shopper people are sketchy by the way, they don't wanna go home, they wanna stay on the island and "do their job" I think shit is going to get nuts on the island. And may get even crazier on the freighter where Desmond and Sayid are heading with grizzly adams, or whatever his name is... I have a feeling that shit is going to go bad on that ship and Sayid will somehow escape it and return to the island, where he will then realize that Ben was correct, and will become allies with the man he once hated. 

I also think that Sayid is rolling around killing people on the "list" because they are the ones who sent the team to the island on the chopper originally to kill off all of the people... 'cuz if you remember at the end he was like "well you have to do this to protect your friends" and we know that some people want to stay on the island, and probably will. 

Anyway, after another AMAZING episode of LOST I find myself thinking the same thing I do after every week. "Why can't I fast forward life one week, so I can watch another episode of LOST??"

According to reports Cleveland Browns Quarterback Brady Quinn had the police called on him by an accuser who said that Quinn was yelling slurs at some Gay people. Now no one knows exactly what was said, but according to the police, Quinn was involved in an argument when they arrived on the scene. 

Way to go Brady, your a well known person in the public eye..what are you thinking?? Yelling out homophobic SLURS to some gay people..You're better than that. This made me think, who would win in the fight??? Brady Quinn or the gay guy he yelled shit at?? I would be willing to put some money on the guy he was yelling shit at, Quinn has no "chin" (in boxing terms) one good slap across the face and he would be out for the count!!! He's a pretty boy, and he sucks at QB... So Brady, do us all a favir and shut up, and learn to throw a better ball, and maybe one day you will be the QB you were intended to be, and that is the next big thing.

So I'm sure when Devean George heard about the trade of half his team (including himself) to the New Jersey Nets (a non-championship contender) he was really pissed. But fortunately, for him at least, he has a clause in his contract that he can block any trade including him....and thats exactly what he has done.

J Kidd Trade

This trade really boggles my mind... I just don't understand it. I mean I understand "chasing the ring" and I know Dallas really wants a championship but they traded like their whole team, future 1st rounders, and cash. Devin Harris, Jerry Stackhouse, DeSagana Diop, Devean George, Maurice Ager, 2 first round draft pics, and 3 million in cash...all for Jason Kidd and Malik Allen???

Maybe I'm retarded but I don't understand it. I understand J Kidd was unhappy in New Jersey (who wouldn't be...its the "armpit" of the United States) but why would the Mavs trade their future PG who they are going to have for 10 more years for a PG they may only have for 2 more seasons... I hope they win a championship soon, cuz J Kidd is getting old.

I understand that J Kidd is arguably the 3rd best PG in the NBA but I think this trade was a little too much for the man. And didn't Mark Cuban come out and say earlier this week that the trade wasn't going down?? He said the finances just wouldn't work out!!! I guess he made it happen by trading HALF HIS BENCH and some starters... but I guess it's not that bad 'cuz they will get stackhouse back 'cuz the Nets are not going to sign him because they are so far over the salary cap, so he may be back in a mavs jersey sooner than you think....

Before taking down the picture I did some field analysis from my loyal readers to see what they felt was right and what was wrong. One loyal fan, who has been there from day one told me "I have no sandals, no work shoes, no rug, no sympathy" another devoted reader who may or may not work in our Photo Department went on to call me a "vagina" for even thinking about taking it down (by the way he started his own blog, and the link is located in the "comments" section of this posting). So basically I was torn wether to cater to one mans requests and take it down or listen to a couple wise young men and leave it up... We all can clearly see who won.. The HATE MAIL/TEXTS/IM's just got to be a lil too much (they started at 745 am)...

Why White Guys Should NOT Dance

So after thinking about it for a while I have to agree with everyone and say that indeed, white guys should not dance... And here is my reasoning for it, CUZ WE SUCK AT IT/ DONT KNOW HOW TO... For instance my friend is notorious for "the sprinkler" and "rolling the dice" out on the dance floor, but like the movie "Knocked Up" said..... "Thats all he's got!!!!"

Now I am not hating on just my friend, this goes out to all you white males out there, just don't try it. I myself am guilty of trying to dance and being horrible at it... This weekend while in chicago I was BLACKED OUT at a club called "climax" and supposedly in my state of severe inebriation all I did was stand up on the table we had and do the sprinkler...why you might ask??? Cuz thats all I got!!!!!  Guess I gotta watch more dancing with the stars or some other bullshit like that on T.V. but for now I will just stand in the corner and nod my head to the music, maybe get a lil hip action in there...who knows.... well thats until my fifth crown and ginger ale when I suddenly turn into a dancing master!!!!!

This post is not sports related.... I would also like to take a minute to give a special shout out and thank you to the Photo Department at The Daily Dagger for their hard work and time put in to find, edit, and make these images what they are. Without them this post would be nothing...

A DD reader, who we will call "the Grizz" for anonymity, who I know has a serious problem, he eats ALL canned goods at room temperature!!!!! (Yes, I know its grimy) Does he have no time to cook these microwavable delights???? It's like he must eat them instantly regardless of temperature. Its almost as if he has a fear that people will eat it while in the microwave heating up... He doesnt care about the meat inside 'cuz like he says "its all precooked anyways"

I have seen this man eat Chef Boyardee, Spaghetios, Canned Soup, and other canned deliciousness straight out of a can with just a disposable plastic fork. His excuse being that he doesn't have to do to dishes if he eats it straight out of the can, and with a disposable fork. 

His roommate (a devoted DD reader as well and who has been known to create "golden showers" ) and I often find ourselves sitting there pissing our pants laughing while this grizzly grubber DEVOURS these canned goods similar to a bear that has found items in someone's picnic basket. 

Anyways the reason for this post is I need to know whether we should sit this man down and have an intervention about his eating habits. 

When he told my mom about this she was astonished and did not know how to react. She even offered to have him over for dinner every night so that he would not have to eat things out of a can COLD... So barbaric (says snyder)... And earlier today while with my mom, we walked by a "Booeymongers" and I told her "the grizz" says its amazing...Her response was priceless and made me pee myself, not really but very close... she responded "Wait doesnt he eat things out of a can, cold?? I don't think we can take his food advice seriously" HAHAHA

P.S I have heard rumors that he has been known to "shotgun" campbells chunky chicken noodle soups, literally opening them and chugging them in one fluid motion.....

February 2nd= National Washington Redskins Day

I think we should now officially declare February 2nd "Washington Redskins Day" what do you think? Sounds good doesn't it?? That was the day the NFL officially announced that former Washington Redskins greats Darrell Green and Art Monk would be initiated into the most elite fraternity of the N.F.L... The Hall of Fame. 

I'm very happy for the two former skins and no one deserved it more... I think we should plan a trip to Canton, Ohio and tailgate (FedEx Style) and listen to the greatest speeches ever. I MapQuest'd it and its only 5 hours from the D.M.V area... Not too crazy of a drive... Anybody with me??? If So, let me know....

Welcome Jim Zorn

I was in chi-town this weekend, and I was suddenly bombarded with texts from my friends and my 2 younger brothers and they all had the same thing to say "skins hired a new coach...Jim Zorn" I'm not going to lie, I was dumbfounded, confused, and stunned. But after letting it sink in I think it might be a good thing, or at least better than Jim Fassel. But after hearing a little bit of Zorn's introduction speech, I'm optimistic and I think he may bring a much needed fire and spark back to the coaching staff. 

For the record, I would like to state that no one would have been a better fit than Gregg Williams.... but I guess there was clearly something wrong in that whole situation because from what I have read/heard he never really wanted the job and Snyder never really wanted to offer it to him..

Anyways back to Zorn, I like what he had to say and I hope our players "are willing to punish themselves" and "do what it takes to win games in the National Football League" just like how Zorn himself said it.

Zorn did good things in Seattle, I mean he managed to turn Matt Hasselbeck into an All-Pro Quarterback so just imagine what he is going to do with "Black Jesus" a.k.a Jason Campbell (the sexiest QB in the NFL.... no homo) The Possibilities are endless... Go Skins!!!

In Adams Morgan, a place with an eclectic mix of bars, lounges and clubs in the Nations Capital, there is a place called "Jumbo Slice" a place with the DANKEST drunk food in the world. A slice of pizza there is literally the size of 3 paper plates and is delicious. On any given thursday, friday or saturday night you can find a shit load of hammered people waiting in line for these slices of deliciousness.. I'm not gonna lie, I've been known to be one of those people.. Its almost mandatoy to get Jumbo Slice on your way home from A-Mo..

Roger Goodell is a cheater!!! He was in on this whole spygate thing, and when it became public, he tried to get rid of the evidence... literally!!! And as for this whole spygate thing, I know they filmed the Rams walk through and I'm sure they knew what the eagles were calling in that Super Bowl as well. I dont care how good of a coach you are or how well you prepare, you will never guess correctly every time, and somehow the patriots did?!?!?! The eagles claim that every time they called a blitz the patriots were miraculously running a screen (the best play to run against a blitz) now I would believe maybe a 75% correct guess but EVERY TIME...thats sketchy, Bellichick is not THAT good..

First of all, congrats to the G-Men.. you guys played one hell of a game. And as sad as it is to say I think I am an Eli Manning fan, or at least until next season when the 'skins have to play him again. That play on 3rd down where he avoided EVERY player on the patriots D line may have been the best play in super bowl history. In my opinion this game was without a doubt the best Super Bowl I have ever seen (other than the one's the skins won... haha) but in all seriousness WOW what a game?!?!? David Tyree proved to be a legit NFL wide receiver and made one of the sickest catches of the year.

Arizona did what we do and spray painted our names all over L.A and those brokeback USC Trojans... Thanks to a great game by Chase Budinger, who I am convinced is a fill in on the HBO show "Rome." He looks like an old Roman child, I could easily see him walking around in jesus sandals and a toga..couldn't you??? Anyways he played amazing, he ended up with 29 points and 8 boards (he made it rain) was dropping 3's like it was his job!!! We played pretty well and shat on that F'ing aggot O.J Mayo!!!..isnt he supposed to be suspended?? He broke NCAA rules by accepting Camelo's tickets to the laker game!!! I guess when you go to USC you can break any rule you want with little or no repercussion. J-Skrilla gave us a good effort and finished with 7 points and 10 boards, but what surprised me was that Jerryd Bayless only had 10 points..whatever he was saving himself for national television and the bruins... So everyone watch tonight when we dagger the bruins

So i just got a phone call from my boy who was reading some NFL insider shizz and he told me that Chad Johnson aka Ocho Cinco has all but publicly said he wants out of Cincinnati this off season. I was then told that redskins insider has said not to be surprised if he ends up in DC next season.. THAT WOULD BE AMAZING we would finally have a receiver with size and also be a deep threat. I think that he would an amazing off-season addition to the skins and we could REALLY use a reciever with size... 'Cuz we all know we dont really have one. Sorry Brandon Lloyd but your career as a redskin was short lived and you never quite lived up to the hype... As my friend Russell puts it "he's just too pretty to go across the middle and take a big hit" 

Now that we would have receivers with size and speed Jason Campbell aka Black Jesus would be able to do what he does... and that is throw beautiful touchdowns.. And lets not lie, the skins could always use another personality in the locker room to compliment Clinton Portis and Captain Chaos Chris Cooley.. Another great off-season move would be to trade Chris Samuels...'cuz he BLOWS!!!! He makes the pro-bowl every year for some odd reason and its kind of like how Grant Hill used to make the All-star game after playing in like 2 games then doing what he does best and thats breaking his ankle.. Rain Drops in the Desert

The Arizona Wildcats had another impressive victory today against the University of Washington Huskies and "made it rain" in the desert town known as Tucson a.k.a the "dirty dirty". After a pretty back and forth first half the Wildcats pulled away in the second half and ended up winning the game 84-69.

Jerryd Bayless did what he always does, and thats dominate offensively and shut down his man on the other end of the floor, and ended the game with 26 points. Chase Budinger also had a great game and ended up with 25 points. And once again "J-Skrilla" aka Jordan Hill dominated the glass and the paint, blocking anything within a 5 foot radius of the hoop, he ended the game with 16 points, 11 rebounds, and 5 blocks. Nic Wise and Jawaan McClellan helped out and made it rain from the 3 point line to help beat the Huskies. 

Its nice to finally see us making 3 pointers!!!! and when we make them, we cant be beat. Watching todays game was quite entertaining because the second half consisted of us shitting all over the huskies and watching Lorenzo Romar's facial expressions throughout the process was PRICELESS. The U of A-Yo!!!

Last night the Arizona Wildcats (my alma matter) upset Number 6 Washington State aka "Wazzou", due in large parts to the performance of our STUD point guard Jerryd Bayless, who had 23 points, 6 assists, 2 steals, and locked down Wazzou's senior point guard (and leader) Derrick Low, who didn't score until 2:38 remained in the game. I mean, we are known as "Point Guard U" for a reason here people...Chase Buddinger also did his part, turning in 22 points and "made it rain" with 4 monster 3 pointers. "J-Skrilla" aka Jordan Hill played a ridiculous game on the defensive end of the floor and finished the game with 6 blocks and 10 boards to go along with his 4 points...he's nasty... at one point he swatted Kyle Weaver's shot into the seats...."ARE YOU SERIOUS?!?!?!? " (imagine Dick Vitale saying it) Which then sparked a 10-2 run by the 'cats midway through the second half to put the game out of reach for those apple eaters/coffee drinkers from Pullman, Washington. 

The Wildcats handed Wazzou only their second loss of the year and re-established that they are the shiizzzzznit. This is the second time this season that the Wildcats knocked-off a top-10 team, after beating broke-back Texas A&M earlier this year (Should be the third but we somehow blew the Kansas game, I wont get into that one though). The "run and gun" wildcats played like they always do, attempting 21 3 pointers, but this time, we actually made more than we missed!!! hitting 12-21 a decent 57%.  Lil' Nic Wise even helped out with 3 3-pointers to help the cats pull off this much needed win. Another major reason for the win was the 87% free throw percentage the cats had, going 20-23 from the stripe. The game was close throughout the first half, but in the second half the wildcats blew the game open. After the game, Washington State's head coach said "We were still in the game at halftime, but the floodgates opened."

After the game J-Skrilla told reporters the crowd was the difference maker, which is not surprising, as a former member of the wildcat nation aka "Zona Zoo" let me tell you, shit gets rowdy!!! What do you expect when thousands of students show up on a "thirsty" thursday night (arguably Arizona's best party night, other than Mon, Tues, Wed, Fri, Sat, and Sun) hammered drunk!!! The crowd of nearly 15,000 packed the McKale Center and were waving towels that were handed out before the game. I got a lot of texts from friends who were there, and they said shit was getting rowdy. I guess good things happen when you sneak in flasks and mini-bottles and pour some "deliciousness" into that Soda or Gatorade that mom and dad bought (thanks to your CatCard)... 

Hopefully this win will help the 'cats get their shit together and "spray paint their names" all over the Pac-10 this season. We have another big game coming up tomorrow (saturday) against Washington and hopefully we will send those huskies back to the rainy northwest with their tails between their legs.

Super Bowl

On feb. 3rd the New York Football Giants will go up against arguably the best football team that I have ever laid eyes on (I'm only 22). And I am pretty sure that they will lose, but I think that they will cover that 13.5 point spread that vegas has predicted. If you look back, the Patriots have not covered in 7 of their last 8 games. I think that the Patriots are a lot better than the G-men but they have not played a really good game in a while, but they still are the Patriots, and you gotta give them credit. 18-0 is pretty insane. 

The reason I think the Giants will cover is becasue the G-men are playing really good football right now, and at the helm of it all is Eli (the retarded Manning brother) who has not thrown an interception or had a fumble in all 3 post-season games. Which is mind boggling, because fumbling may be Eli's middle name... but anyways their D is solid and I think Brandon Jacobs is a work horse. But in the end, the Patriots and their "spygate" tendencies will be just too much for lil Eli and big old Brandon Jacobs. The patriots offense will keep the Giant D out on the field for way too long and tire them out with little 5-7 yard passes underneath to Wes Welker and when the Giants start to creep up, RANDY MOSS will superman those hoes!! I think that the Giants will lose by 10-13 points but in the end they will cover and if the game was played with a spread they would be NFL Champions, but its not and for that reason The Cheating Patriots will go 19-0* and be Super Bowl Champions... and to quote Weezy F. baby  they will be "poppin' bottles (of Sam Adams) like they won a championship game"

I just read a story about how all signs are pointing to Jim Fassel to be named the next Head Coach of the Washington Redskins... wait, wait, wait...WHAT?!?!?! Daniel Snyder are you as retarded as your long-lost cousin David Snyder??? You NEED to hire Gregg Williams, not some old, washed-up assistant coach who blew it for the ravens a few years back as a "consultant" and then ended up being fired by his best-friend Brian Billick. 

What the hell are you thinking jeopardizing our teams continuity?!?! Our players LOVE Gregg Williams and so do our fans, he has made our Defense a force to be recon'd with, and if you offer this job to Fassel, you know Gregg Williams is going to leave. Then were going to get Rex Ryan...who?? Who the hell is Rex Ryan, we NEED Gregg Williams.

 I understand you wanting to go out and shop for a big name head coach, but if that is what your trying to do at least wait for a big name coach to become available, not some washed-up, shitty ass assistant coach!!!

I was just reading RealGM.com (a good site for up to the minute info for pretty much any sport) and I saw that Isiah Thomas was quoted saying "We need a Kevin Garnett" during an interview, to try to explain why his New York Knickabockers are SO awful at basketball. NO SHIT ISIAH, we all need a Kevin Garnett... who doesnt need a 6'11 power forward that can pretty much play any position on the court (literally)?? Who doesn't need a player who is averaging basically a double-double every night (right now he's averaging 19.3 pts, 9.8 rebounds, oh and 3.8 assists per game)?? Are you serious, the balls Isiah has, to try to blame his teams demise on the fact that he doesn't have an MVP type player on his team.. Maybe it's your fault the knicks suck..ever think of that?? You suck as a basketball coach, you always have!!! You were an amazing basketball player, but as a coach you are pretty pretty pretty bad!! I was at the knicks vs. Wiz Kids game last friday at "the phone booth" aka the Verizon Center, and I had seats behind the knicks bench (unfortunately) and I got to witness 1st hand just how bad of a coach Isiah truly is. At every full-length timeout and T.V. timeout (which last about like 3-5 minutes) Isiah sat there on the floor staring at the big screen for more than half the length of the timeouts...here's an idea Isiah... instead of bitching about your lack of talent, try COACHING, use all the time you have to get your players to understand what they have to be doing and where to be out there on the court. And don't stab them in the back after a game (and probably a loss) by saying that you need better players. This is the N.B.A, the best of the best, the cream of the crop, and you have the balls to say you need better players?!?!? your 12 players are 12 of the best basketball players in the ENTIRE WORLD come on now.. There are currently 491 active players in the NBA, granted yours may not be the 12 best players but they are definitely not the 12 worst either... I think instead of you bitching about your lack of talent, your players should be bitching about their lack of coaching.. I'm sorry knick fans for having to put up with such a D-bag of a coach...Dolan do us all a favor and FIRE ISIAH!! 

Oh and another reason why Isiah is a complete IDIOT...he said "their record was ours last year, but they got (bleep) Kevin Garnett" uhh D-bag they also got Ray Allen one of the better 2 guards in the N.B.A!!!! Oh but i guess he doesn't count 'cuz he's only averaging 18.2 points, 4 rebounds, and 3 assists per game (only a point and 5 boards shy of Garnett) Ray Allen's leadership and character may be more of a reason why the Celtics have had such a drastic change, but lets be honest here, any team that gets 2 all stars like that over-night is gonna have drastic changes in their record...oh and it helps that they have a real coach in Doc Rivers, and not a D-bag like Isiah Thomas, who may be bad enough to even make the celtics suck with their current line-up...

The Wiz Kids

So yesterday, I hopped on the metro and headed down to D.C to watch the amazing Wizards a.k.a the Wiz Kids do what they does, and thats win. We beat on the Western Conference contenders, the Dallas Mavericks just like I predicted we would. Although I must admit other than Josh Howard, they really did not look that good. Dirk was off his game, rattled, could not hit a shot! You could tell he was noticeably upset with himself after the game, walking off the court with his head down and his tail between his legs..He did not even acknowledge his own people, a group of germans with signs in german and a huge German flag.. Even the guy next to me admitted "that was a little cold" of Nowitzki to do. 

But as for the true ballers, the Wiz Kids or as some of us like to call them the Bullets, they played amazing. Caron Butler continued to show that he is one of the NBA's most versatile and best 3-men and a legit all-star. His energy and all-style of play really energized our team and our fans. DeShaun played amazing as well and he had really started to find his shot, even from like 40 ft. out. He truly cannot feel his face, it must be thanks to that "White Girl" which some of us call Lindsay Lohan... Nicky Hatten aka Nick Young also put on a show and reminded us all why he feels he should be in the Dunk Contest at all-star weekend, but like I stated in earlier blogs he was F'd my the NBA..HARD... Antawan Jamison contributed like he always does with his close to double-double numbers after a slow first half with only 4 points, and even managed to hit a fair amount of 3's (which is quite rare) and even Antonio Daniels played well and lead the offense like he is supposed to seeing as he is the "offensive genius" of the wizards and no one else knows the plays.

 Finally, I would like to give a shout out to Eddie Jordan, I must admit at one point I did hate on him, but now I see why he is such a well respected coach throughout this league. He manages 12 very charismatic personalities and even manages to make them play with each other, and quite well might I add. 

P.S. I would like to add that I missed Nick Young's ridiculous dunk yesterday, and was forced to watch it on the T.V's at the Hot Dog stand because my boy NEEDED to get his chili-cheese dog which he waited over 20 minutes for and somehow inhaled it in less than 2... but other than that small dagger the day was basically amazing, oh yeah that is until we got to the metro and realized the red line was single tracking between Dude-poke circle and farragut north...F metro

Nick Young, you got Fucked by the NBA hard, you deserve to be in the dunk contest fo' sho' The Dunks you threw down in todays BEATING of the mavericks were NASTY i just don't think whoever chooses the dunkers has been watching you at all this season because you have had some really nice throw downs my man.. Fuck David Stern and Fuck whoever chooses the dunkers for All-Star weekend, because they definitely F'd you and you deserve to go out there and show the world what you could do, and most importantly bring a dunk title back to the D.M.V (D.C, Maryland, Virginia) area. Im sorry Phoenix,  as a former U of A student I know how tranquil and relaxed your desert valley is, but that all is about to change with the invasion of all 5 burro's and crazy Bostonians... good luck finding time at a local tanning salon or hair gel at your local stores, it will all be gone because of those Fucking New Yorkers.. And the scottsdale bar/club scene will be full of blowout haircuts, open chested button downs, and horrible accents... And at the Super Bowl itself, all that will be served alcohol wise will be Jager-bombs and Heineken's (for the New Yorkers) and Sam Adams (for the New Englanders).. But as for the game itself, I am not exactly sure that the Patriots will cover that 13.5 point spread but they will do the damn thang, they are just too good, its a little unfair. But I must admit I am happy for Eli (the retarded Manning brother) and Coach Coughlin, they both get a lot of shit and its nice to finally see them silence their critics, but unfortunately i think they are going to get daggered BADLY...I am watching ESPN right now and I just saw that Tom Brady was in a walking boot, but he claims that he will be in the game unless he is in a stretcher, as a neutral 3rd party I would like to make a suggestion to the Giants, PUT HIM IN A STRETCHER!!!! Wizards-Dallas Pregame Report

So I'm about to take off to watch the Wiz Kids "spray paint their names in that ass" that is the Broke-back Dallas Mavericks. And it just made me think about how broke-back the city of Dallas truly is. Mark Cuban is a pretty funny character but he should stick to dancing with the stars, I doubt he even tried to bang out his dancing partner (who was insanely hot) considering he LOVES the cock. And I dont even want to talk about the German Scoring Machine that is Dirk Nowitzki (the product of man love between Hitler and David Hasselhoff). And now for the most broke-back part about the city of Dallas, the Cowboys...WHO ARE GAYER THAN AIDS...
